In the Summer term of 2018, the school entered into the ‘Diocese of Chichester Spiritual and Quiet Space competition’. This competition recognised and celebrated the Year of Prayer and we were delighted to receive a Silver award for our Peace Garden.
Five years on and our garden has grown! Nature has created a wonderful place for children to sit and enjoy quiet time with the opportunity to pray and talk to God.
Previously our Jelly Baby Friends (Suzy Sorry, Thea Thanks, Peter Praise and Andy Ask) have helped us formulate our messages to God and children now have the opportunity to tie a ribbon to our newly installed fencing in memory of their prayer.
Our Peace Garden celebrates the beauty of nature and we hope that it brings peace to the hearts of those that sit within it.
